Costume

The killer will be dressed in a red,tight dress; this has a polysemic reading as red can be a signifier of love which fits into the narrative but equally a sigfnier of blood and death which is anchorage for the genre of the film. She will be wearing heels to portray a sexy image which will help to pull in male audiences along with less makeup than the other female character which helps to show the binary opposition between the two characters.  The other female character within the trailer will be portrayed as being sexually availbale; this will be shown through using costumes effectivley such as obvious makeup and revealing clothes.
Both male characters will be dressed in jeans and a in-formal shirt as we feel this fits in with the mise-en-scene of the locations as one of the locations is a popular bar.Both characters are trendy looking and would pull in a female audience, males would also be able to relate to both characters as their the boy next door.


The three victims will only play a minor part in the trailer,however they will all be made visually sexually available and attractive looking this is therefore the motive for the main killer to kill the girls.
