location

The first room which includes the girls getting ready will include the colour pink with such things as bedding and decorations to connote a females room. Make-up and straighteners will be visible for anchorage. The bar thats used will be a modern up-market bar which appeals to the target audience (15-24).
The location of the house is in a rural area which will be visible to the audience as the taxi driver will be driving along a lonely road which will denote the female character being vulnerable however this is a twist as the male character is in fact the vulnerable one. It's a detached middle class house which will bring in part of a middle class audience, it also has inter-textual reference to the house in Scream due to it being detached and both houses are painted white. Due to this being the house of a innocent and pure character the house being white is a signifier of the characters  personality. The house also includes a conservatory which adds to the vulnerability of the scene due to all the glass which lets characters be able to see into the house. The male characters bedroom will be signified by stereotypical male poster such as boys toys and movie posters, if the commutation test was applied here it would fit as the posters dont include female nudity which is stereotypical of a 18 year old boy this is anchorage for him being a virgin. At first we considered to have a bedroom messier than the girls however we decided the bedroom will be neater than expected of an 18 year old, this conotes he is less of a lads lad than initially expected by the audience from the scenes in the bar.
