hardware

In our trailer we will be using a canon widescreen MV920 to do the filming within the trailer, we have also used this to record our podcast's on. The features of the camera are as follows
The dimensions of the camera are:
115mm in length
92mm in height
49mm in width
0.38 kg in weight
LCD screen 2.7 inches

Key features:
Auto White Balance
Manual Brightness/Contrast Settings
Multiple features to change lighting to day/night settings
25x optical zoom
Built in microphone

To minimise the risk of ambient sound, we are going to use a boom mic, this is a new piece of equipment compared to last year and we have spent time getting to no how to use and set it up.We are hoping that this will give our trailer a more realistic and professional approach.

We also need to use a tripod, this helps to steady the camera and gives an effective still shot. The tripod enables the camera to still move from side to side creating a Dutch angle as-well as having extendable legs which help to create different heights and angles, however pacts up quite compactly to be able to carry around on location, which is useful for us as we are filming some scenes around Ilkley and within small space public areas.

Too save our work were going too use external hardrives, this will help us be able too move our work too different computers if anything happens too the computer that we are working on. I have also purchased a 16GB memory stick which im going too save work too therefore i can work from home and transfer different files onto and from different computers and the high amount of gigabytes on my memory stick enables me too carry large files.
