Too link sound into our film the main protagonist is seen too put a CD into a CD player, this is then when the music starts in the trailer. The first bit of music is 'techno' music as its played through scenes of teenagers getting ready too go out and drinking, this music type is popular and fits with our target audience, this was apparent by doing the commutation test as it wouldn't appeal to someone in their 60's/70's. Donkey Punch and Fish Tank both have used this style of music in fast paced scenes such as ours, therefore this is intertextual reference. The change in music happens on a significant scene of the main protagonist and a boy kissing, as he's the reason the murders happen. The changed music is a high pitched piece with only a few different tones into it, this type of music is commonly known in slashers and sets the tone and mood too what is about too happen. Including both these different types of music may also reach out to a wider target audience.

Their is a close up of the main protagonist, which we have put a voice over of the boy saying ' i just like someone else'. We thought this was an effective way of showing the audience that the reason why the character is upset is because of the boy. As its a teaser trailer, time is limited and this was a much more successful way without the two characters having to have a conversation about it.I feel that we should of used the boom mic for the shots of the characters in the bar, as what they are saying isn't very clear, however music is being played over the top therefore this wont effect our overall result.
